Teaching your kids to pray

It’s never too early to teach your children to pray. I enjoy listening to my 2-year old pray. We started with grace at meals, he loves to say grace for the family. He sits there and watches and waits for us to fold our hands and leads us along. He already knows, by heart, the first two to three lines! What is even better though is prayers before bed. I start by saying “nite nite Jesus” which he repeats. But then he goes on, by himself, praying saying “thank you Jesus for helping….” and goes on to name whoever comes to his mind. Friends, you just might have a 2-year old interceding for you. How awesome is that?
