Like the picture above, a gentle breeze can leave this dandelion bare and empty. It is fragile and delicate, just like our life. I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one that seems to take life for granted, automatically thinking about tomorrow as if we know for sure we will be here.
We plan, we think about our future. We plan vacations, baby showers, parties, etc. This is good, no doubt, we should do these things, we only live once. But I think we miss the buck a little when we begin to take it all for granted. No day is guaranteed. No one knows the hour our time will be up.
Each day must be cherished…the good and bad days. I was reminded this today when reading this blog. Be forewarned, grab a tissue. And before you go to bed tonight, cherish your life and the lives of those you love. Enjoy the moment, the dishes can wait!
